Soooo... I picked out the outfits!!!

I already had in mind a couple of pieces that I wanted to use for sure, but just finalized all of the little details and last-minute items I picked.

I took inspiration from a couple of celebrities and current trends that I think embody this personality and the type of people that embody this aesthetic.

 My protagonist resonates with the '70s hippy era and likes the aesthetic of the decade. One of the most recognizable fashions statements of the time were flared, boot-cut jeans; however, for a looong  time this style was considered outdated and unflattering, but it is back now! 2020 has seen a revival of 1970's fashion and now many of the vintage looks from the past are coming back. Tie-dye, bell bottoms, clogs, bell sleeves, crochet clothing, roller skates, sequence, maxi dresses, and long earrings,  have become very popular among adolescent and young-adult demographics. Even Doja Cat, a very famous singer made the music video to her most famous song- Say So- disco/'70s themed (link below). The 70's look is extremely trendy, especially among those you are part of the bohemian/hippy culture. I think implementing these trends could really work in my favor and clearly convey to my audience the type of person my character is/ which group she belongs to.
